The Society for Advancement of Management (SAM)

Under of the direction of Dr. Cheickna Sylla, the NJIT chapter of SAM sponsors a wide range of activities that help students learn more about management, make career choices, and build job related skills. These activities include corporate site visits, speakers from local companies, workshops on resume writing and interviewing, and discussions about work and the early career.  Recent site visits have included Anheuser-Busch and the Federal Reserve.

Membership in SAM is a terrific opportunity to learn more about management and to make new friends.  You can visit the national SAM website or contact Dr. Sylla or Mary Kate Naatus for more information.

Beta Gamma Sigma

Beta Gamma Sigma is the National Honor Society for AACSB accredited schools.  For membership requirements and meeting information, contact Dr. Rene Cordero.  You can also visit the Beta Gamma Sigma website to learn more about the benefits of membership.

Our next induction ceremony will be held on April 23rd, 2008 at 3pm in the NJIT Campus Center.  Last year,  NJIT inducted 52 new members into their chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma at the School of Management Awards Ceremony.
