International Business is an arena of exciting opportunities for those interested in learning about business practices and intrigued by the growing importance of doing business on stage sets that involve more than the limitations of a single country.
The business minor is an 18 credit program designed to provide fundamental business and management knowledge to undergraduate students in any major outside of business, such as science, engineering, architecture and computer science.
The Economics minor requires 15 credits, including Intermediate Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, Corporate Finance and 2 electives. For students who wish to pursue careers in Finance and quantitative areas of business, the Economics minor is a great complement to the BS degree.
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship minor. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship minor is an 18 credit program that will help non-business majors prepare for careers where they will be commercializing new ideas into new business ventures and new business lines for existing ventures. In addition to business fundamentals in accounting, economics, marketing, and management, students will learn about New Venture Management and Financing.
