Graduate Certificate Programs
The Management Essentials Certificate
In cooperation with the university's Division of Continuing and Professional Education, SOM offers a management essentials certificate program. It is intended for managers and professionals who would benefit from foundation knowledge in accounting, finance and economics, marketing, and management information systems. Courses are at the graduate level and a bachelor's degree is required for admission into the program.
The four courses in the certificate program are:
- Financial and Managerial Accounting
- Financial and Economic Environment of Business
- Global Marketing
- Managing IT for Competitive Advantage
The certificate is offered online and face-to-face. Students have the option of completing courses online in distance learning format, face-to-face, or in combination (face-to-face and online). The Management of Technology Certificate
SOM offers a 12 credit certificate program in the Management of Technology. Courses in the certificate program map directly to the MOT specialization in the Master of Science in Management program. Students can continue on to the MSM program and complete the degree by taking two additional specialization courses and the 15 credit MSM core (which is available online).
